here is the todays campaign forecast :
Campaign Forecast for the period Saturday 16/1 to Tuesday 19/1 issued Suturday 16/1 8h

Ile de France is at the edge of influence of both an Atlantic depression south of Island and an Eastern Europe high. and that can induce light winds over Paris. Temperature will keep mild. Precipitation.

Saturday 16/1 :
T max 7°C, cloudy, rain in the afternoon Look at http://www.meteox.fr : a large rain area will reach Paris later in the morning
Moderately strong surface winds (20 km/h) from SE morning to SW afternoon; Surface PM2.5 < 40 µg/m3 in the morning plume to N, , but low in the afternoon

Sunday 17/1 :
T max 8°C, rather sunny;
Moderately strong surface winds (20 km/h) from NW in the morning, lighter (10 km/h) and from SW in the evening; GSF in the morning still strong winds
Surface PM2.5 < 40 µg/m3, POA < 20 µg/m3 plume to SE sector, (largest levels forecasted of 18UTC, lower levels during day)

=> possibility for plume in SE sector; good day for lidars
=> for MAXDOAS round trip at outer circle possible, as stronger winds

Monday 18/1 :
T max 6°C, cloudy
Light to moderately strong surface winds (10 -20 km/h) from E
Surface PM2.5 < 40 µg/m3, POA < 15 µg/m3 plume to W - NW sector

=> possibility for plume in W - NW sector
=> for MAXDOAS round trip at outer circle possible, as stronger winds

T max 4°C, cloudy; precipitation (GSF)
Light surface winds (10 km/h) from E
