Overview NEWS Forecasts Sites and PlateForms Data and Measurements

Within the frame of the FP7 MEGAPOLI project, an intensive measurement campaign will be set up in the Paris region during 2009 and 2010. The general objective is to better quantify primary and secondary aerosol sources in a large urban agglomeration and in its plume. A particular focus will be put on the build-up of secondary organic aerosol and its relation to precursor gases.

This campaign is supported by the EU FP7 project MEGAPOLI, by French national ANR (blanc) program, project MEGAPOLI-PARIS, by INSU-CNRS via the program LEFE / CHAT, and by the Ile-de-France region program SEPPE. Several research groups participated on their own funding.
